AUGUST 11, 2005 - I will forever remember this date because this is the date where I bumped into a "Holdapper"...Yup...I was "holdapped" yesterday and the fucking bastard got my cellphone...
So what happened? I was on my way to work...since I did not have my car...I take the LRT and the MRT...so from our house I took the tricycle to LRT...I left around quarter to 8 in the morning...while walking to the LRT I went to this store beside the stairs of the LRT to buy some candies...then I noticed this guy who went beside me...as I was on my way up...he suddenly pointed something at the left side of my body...from that point on...I didn't know what to do...my heart suddenly banged like bass drums...damn bastard was smart enough to hide the pointed object behind my backpack so no one could see it...then he told me to go to the back alley...then told me to hand over my cellphone...so here I am...still in shock...I gave him my cellphone...damn bastard was almost my height and size...anyway so I gave him my fucking cellphone...then he ran away...as he was running away...I was still in shock...my mind stopped...I couldn't do anything...I just watched him until he was nowhere to be found...mukhang tanga talaga...after that I felt weak...and went home...
I told my Mom what happened...she got really worried...she gave me some water for me to settle down...then she told everyone in the neighborhood what happened...I called up my office then told Marlon I will be late because of the incident...then I borrowed my Mom's phone and tried to call up my cellphone... it was still ringing...maybe the bastard was still running away or maybe he doesn't know how to use the phone...anyway...what was I thinking? I know I would not get it back anyway...so I just rested at home...really feeling very weak and still in a little bit of shock...then I texted cookie to tell her what happened using my mom's phone...at around 9 am...my cousin arrived and she will be leaving for office which is in ortigas too...my mom told me that I should go with her...so I went with her but I took my old cellphone and bought a sim right away...my mom told me that its ok...ang isipin ko na lang I was not hurt...which is right...cellphone lang naman yun...so...I had a little chat with my cousin ate May on the way to ortigas...about snatchers, holdappers etc....she told me her encounters with these people....damn...malas lang talaga...tsempo tsempo lang din...I offered to park her car in the office so she won't pay any fee...
In the office...I was shocked that almost everyone knew what happened...even Helen our office helper and Noli the guard...everyone wanted to know what really happened...so I told them...well they all told me good thing I wasn't hurt...steady lang...at least walang nangyari sakin...cellphone lang yan...then in the afternoon...they gave me some lumpiang shanghai to cheer me up...which was very touching...(nakanam!)
then through the day...I realized why did this happen? well maybe something better is waiting for me...something really good...well its already out even before this happened...my green card was already approved together with my cookie's green card...siguro sabi paalis na lang din ako hindi ko na kailangan yun...kung iisipin mo nga talaga...big loss kasi mahal yung cellphone...pero cellphone lang yun...inisip ko na lang buti yung wallet ko hindi kasi mas hassle yun...ung license ko makukuha...yung atm ko...and syempre some money...eh yung cellphone...un lang...hassle lang yun contacts...yung mga contacts ilalagay ko n naman...ayun...chaka nakakatuwa lang din kasi dito ko nakita kung sino yung mga taong nagmamahal sayo...ang dami...si Kowtz nag offer na isabay ako pauwi...si Roman nag offer na hiramin ko muna yung phone nya...yung mom-in-law ko nag offer din na pahiramin ako ng phone pati tita ko in law...nakakatuwa at nakakataba lang ng puso (nakanam!) syempre si cookie was there to comfort me, my friends and my family...ang sarap lang ng feeling...parang alam mo you always have some people you can count on and are always there for you...
ayun lang...ayus na...here's my new contact number 09153191296...later dudes
tangna ang tanga ko talaga...may pa idiot's guide pa ko sa LRT eh ako naman pala yun...hehe sige later...

Idiot's Guide to the LRT and MRT
Since I lost my car almost two weeks ago...I came back to my commuting days....and since I'm back to my commuting days...I'm back with riding the LRT and MRT...these two trains are my main means of transportation from my house to my office at San Miguel Ortigas...
Actually, I have two options for me to go to office. First option is via the LRT then the MRT and the second is I take a bus or a taxi to the North Ave. station of the MRT then I take the MRT. I usually take the first option because its cheaper and I know exactly how long my travel time is. So from my house I take the jeep or tricycle to the Monumento station of the LRT then I ride the LRT up to the EDSA station. From the edsa station, I walk towards the Taft Station of the MRT then I ride it until the SHAW boulevard station. From there, I take a walk going to my office. But between the two options, option 2 is faster. So if I'm running late, I might take option 2 but its more expensive because I usually take the taxi going to the MRT station.
Well, I can say that I'm quite a veteran now in riding these trains because as with the LRT, I've been using it for almost 6 years now and the MRT for almost 2 years so I think I know how things turn inside the stations of these trains.
THE LRT...
I can't remember when was the first time I rode this train but I can tell you that this train was really a big part of my college life. I took this train to go to my school DLSU back then. I remember that the LRT use the token as the ticket back then but of course now, the LRT uses the ticket. What's good about the token is that you can stay in the LRT for as long as you want unlike with the card where your time is measured and when you exceed the limit, you pay more. My first advice is to be alert, wag tatanga tanga pag andito ka sa LRT kasi most of the people don't care. What they only care about is themselves and for them to reach their destination on time. What are the must haves? First is your ticket. My advice for the ticket is that you get the stored value card worth 100 bucks. What are the benefits? First is you don't get to fall in line to buy tickets and second is you have a bonus ride. Even if your card has only 1 peso, you can still use it for one last bonus ride. Its really very comfortable to have a stored value card. Now, if you know that you are riding the bonus ride, make sure that you buy one before you leave the station. Lines are shorter as you exit. What's a no-no in buying tickets? Never...and I say never ever buy a ticket during monday mornings because the lines will be very long...and I say really long.Second must have? Skill. Skill sa pakikipag gulangan. As I have said, people don't care about you in the LRT so its like every man or woman for himself or herself. Gulangan usually happens when you enter the train. Sometimes, when trains take a long time to arrive, the station becomes very crowded and the entry points are really jam-packed. So if you're running late, you got no choice but to barge in and take the plunge! hehe So how are you going to do it? Just make a strong stance wherein you don't let anyone push you off and of course you must know the entry points so you could be first in line. But sometimes there are cases that you're stuck in the middle of the crowd, when you're in this situation, make sure that you protect your own stuff like cellular phones and wallet then as the door opens, don't fuckin mind those beside you, just let it all out and go. Third must have or tip...if you want to know the coolest spots of the train, then here's my tip. The LRT has three types of trains:2 dugtong, 3 dugtong and the 4 na dugtong. The 2 dugtong and 3 dugtong look alike but the 4 na dugtong is different. So for the 2 and 3 dugtong, the coolest spot for me is the middle part of the train. If you get to seat on the middle part, your ride will be the best. When you got no seat, make sure you stand on the part near the window, thats where the aircon is coming from. Fourth tip or a must...never ever stay near the doors...it is the part where people really get congested. I don't really see the point why so many people like to stay near the doors, aside from the fact that its hot in there, there's so many people in there. So if you're like going to edsa and you're riding from monumento, better stay in the middle part. One time, I really had no choice, I had to jump in and be in the worst place in the LRT. There were really so many people na tipong dikit dikit na talaga kayong lahat. As my former gay professor from DLSU would say "para akong ni-rape pagkatapos ko mag LRT". Which is quite true pag rush hour talaga, puta squatter talaga, sobra dami tao...para bang wasted ka na pagkababa mo...parang buong araw ka na nasa labas...jabar to the max pa...Minsan bad trip din ang mga tao pag bababa ka tapos hindi sila nagpapadaan...talagang hahanap ka ng paraan para lumabas...minsan din pinipilit nilang sumakay kahit wala na talaga...kasi yung pinto ng LRT na 2 at 3 dugtong...tinutulak ka paloob...kaya kahit nakalabas pa ang pwet or katawan nila, itutulak sila nung pinto paloob...puta sarap...sobrang siksikan kayo nun...bad trip mga taong ganun...teka tagalog na to ah...hehe...anyway ano ba paki nyo...blog ko to eh...ano pa ba masasabi ko sa LRT? Ah!
THE MRT...
So far...my ride with the MRT is good...why?because of the stronger aircon...the technique is you just have to know where are the coolest spots...and there are a lot of cool spots in the MRT...so same with the LRT here are my must haves and tips...first must have is the ticket...again...my advice to you is to get the stored value card...same benefits with the LRT...this is really comfortable specially in the Taft or North ave. station wherein the lines for the tickets are really long...so never ever let your card be emptied...make it a habit that you buy your ticket before you leave the station...worst case scenario...what if you don't have a ticket...the lines are long..and you're running late...how are you goint to deal with that?...here's how...sometimes...they open up booths wherein they sell single journey tickets for cubao, kamuning etc...or if you're from the north ave. station...there are tickets to shaw, buendia, ayala etc...its good to buy tickets from their because the lines are shorter and transactions are faster...what if you're going to quezon ave. from taft avenue and you bought the cubao ticket from that booth...is it acceptable? No...but as you exit the train...you can go to the cashier and ask for fare adjustment...but when your destination is shaw and you bought the ticket for cubao...no problem...the ticket will work...what's 50 cents or a peso more for the ride in exchange for sacrificing yourself in going to the long line for the ticket?...good deal huh?...a smart way to ride the MRT is to know the position of the escalators at your exit station...so that you can position yourself to the train where the door is exactly at the position of the escalator...sometimes its better to stand up in the MRT because its cooler...but if your tired enough...of course there's no harm in seating...the coolest place is to seat on the back part of the train...and its coolest also when you stand in those places...one more thing...its not also good to stay in the doors because like the LRT its most congested place of the train...bad things about the MRT...no escalators in some stations...same with the LRT...if you get beside a person who has bad odor...malas mo...
So the main thing here is to always be alert when you ride these trains...common sense lang din...hehe...eto mas maganda...napansin ko lang kanina nung nag jeep ako...nakakatawa kasi...iba iba ang mga paraan ng mga pasahero magpahinto ng jeep pag bababa na sila...ikaw pano syo?
a. Para!, Mama Para po! - pinaka common

hey! its been a while since my last blog...when was that?can't remember...anyway I have a good reason for blogging this time...want to know it? take a good look at the pictures below...

So? what do you think? nice ride!!! I think its quite out in the open now....I got involved in an accident...when was this? Last friday night...while I was driving home from work...actually from inuman with my officemates...had few bottles of beer but I was ok...really! no joke...I was completely ok...well malas lang talaga siguro...and I learned a few things from this incident...
So how did it happen?
I drove home from office. I was actually with Ryan coming from Ortigas...I dropped him in Cubao where I usually drop him off. While I was with Ryan, he was asking me if I was really ok...and I told him I am fine...well maybe that was a sign that I ignored...so after I dropped him in Cubao...I drove home via Edsa where I usually go...now...in balintawak on the way to monumento...while I was approaching the last U-turn slot going to Monumento...there's this 1990 Toyota Corolla in front of me...then suddenly he stopped...well everything happened so fast...it was like bam!!! then I just found myself hitting them...first thing I did was look at their car to see how much damage I made. Theirs looked preety ok...but when I went down...I saw mine and damn!!! my car was wrecked!!! actually, the picture above shows the hood not bent, after the accident it was really bent badly...anyway...I immediately approached the other party to check them out if they're ok...and thank God none of us were hurt...I said I'm sorry and good thing the other party which happens to be dondon and his wife...well dondon admitted that he didn't see the incoming truck in the U-turn slot which was the reason why he suddenly stopped...well what can I say...it was really my fault because I was the one who hit them so that pretty much explains the case...I offered them my name and my number since there were no police men or traffic enforcers around because it was 11:30 in the evening. And of course, I offered them that I will be handling all the damages and I will never leave them. Well they told me that "hindi naman sa hindi kami nagtitiwala, syempre pare ngayon lang tyo nagkakilala at nagkita"...naintindihan ko naman sila...since there were no police..they told me to go with them in potrero...good thing they were near...in a barangay office to make a report...so this would serve as their proof that I will be carrying all the damages I did to them...so I went on with them...actually I lied to my dad because my dad did not want me to go with them...well what can I do? this people won't let me go...so I had to make my decision...so we went to the barangay...then these barangay officers made our report...during the time the barangay officers were doing the report...I realized a lot of things...
The Realizations...
While they were doing the report...I realized what have I done? I should have been home already...resting at my bed...trying to sleep and no worries at all!...instead I'm here at the barangay office...waiting for this report wherein I have a grudge against me and with these people who I do not even know! plus my car is broken...and I don't have anything to use for the whole long weekend...good thing it still works...but it sure has damages...If only I had stepped earlier on that brake pedal or if only I was driving smoothly...I admit...I was pretty fast...well what do you expect? its a highway....well what do I expect either? its an accident...no one wants an accident to happen to them...
At home...
so my dad was waiting for me at the gate when I got home...and sure no one can draw the face he has that night...I can't blame him to be mad...I know I deserve to have anything he will say to me...I was careless...I am thankful to my dad because he wasn't that really mad at all...also my mom...well what can they do? its an accident...hehe I keep on saying that to justify what happened...anyway...he checked on the damages and explained to him what happened...then afterwards we went to sleep...oh before I forget...andrew, my officemate, texted for us to take care while going home...I texted him everything was ok because I did not want him to worry anymore...anyway I apologize bro...anyway I'm fine...
The next morning....
Bad thing was...I was expected to fetch my tito who came from New York at the Westing Philippine Plaza...so now...I don't have a car...nevertheless there was still my dad's car...my dad told me to be careful...and damn! you won't believe me...I was really careful driving that time...my dad got a bit mad because we went back late...because of my careful driving...I was suppose to go with them to pampanga but instead my dad told me that we have to make this police report for the insurance...good thing I had my tito tony who used to be a cop who will go with me and help me out with the police report...so we called up dondon(the other party) to ask details of his car for the report...the police report was ok for him...so we went to the traffic department of the police in sangandaan and they made my report...damn...it costed me my whole morning...and then I told myself...look at what I have done...instead of me sleeping...I'm here at the traffic office waiting for my report...I'm really thankful for my tito because the investigator made my report immediately...we just gave him a few bucks for his fast service...para good shot next time! hehe there won't be a next time!!! so as soon as my report was done...we went home...told my dad about the report and rested...
I am a bit happy this happened to me because I realized a lot of things...fyi...this is my first big car accident...so it was quite an experience...well...I guess i'll be back to the LRT and MRT again for a few weeks while waiting for my car...medyo excited din kasi na-miss ko hehe...so peeps...ingat kyo lagi para iwas sa accident...we will never know when they will come...lagi tyo mag pray...and be safe lagi...ingats mga peeps...later...

What would you do if you were given a single wish?one wish to do anything...anything you want...anything you need...anything you are longing for...what would you do?
Well, here's one of the classics again...I'm sure you have encountered this question already with your friends and answered it several times already...but it is really interesting to know what would you do if you have this single wish...just one wish to change your life...
There are a lot of things I want to do...of course there's the option that I want to have lots of money...or I want to be an actor...or a singer....musician...or maybe I want to have superpowers...wag na contes na...
Speaking of contes...definition of terms tayo...CONTES...anyone knows this word? I bet not...only me and my friends know this word...this was created by me and my cousing Gino...well wag na natin ikwento...i'll tell you what it means na lang...
Contes (kontes) - a sentence without sense, nonsense words, sablay na hirit, hirit na nakakainis kasi walang masabi syo, out of this world na hirit etc. example: pano kaya kung nagsiswimming tyo tpos biglang merong pating kinain tyo lahat?, pano kaya kung sobrang gwapo mo parang brad pitt pero may putok ka na hindi pwede magamot? etc.
Ok ba? may natutunan na kayong bagong term sa kin...hehe
Anyway going back to the topic, so if i had this single wish, what would it be...ako siguro...i'll go back in time...dun sa time na bata pa ko...yun bang wala pa kong kamuwang muwang sa mundo...wala lang...wala lang akong pakialam...eto lang ang alam kong gawin...kain-laro-tulog...diba ang sarap? wala kang iniintindi...wala kang responsibilities...diba parang ang sarap?well masarap talaga...un lang ganun lang ako kasimple....
Well i am not saying na ayoko sa life ko ngayon...well im happy of course...parang ang sarap lang ng ganung feeling diba?sino ba ayaw bumata ulit? i bet each and everyone of us nasabi na gusto nila bumata ulit...diba?
So kayo? what would you do? what's your wish...

No 9 ball fanatic would miss this prestigious event for it is like the NBA championship or the World Cup of billiards. All the best pool players in the world gather for this yearly event and this year it is in Kaohsiung, Taiwan where we will crown the new King of 9 ball.
Sadly, if you are currently watching this years WPC, everything's a shocker! Our best bets were eliminated early namely Efren Reyes and Django Bustamante. I don't know what happened to these guys but they lost unexpectedly. Well, looking at the bright side, we are not only the country who lost our best players. Chinese Taipei lost Chin Shun Yang yesterday to an unknown player Raj Hundal. USA lost Earl Strickland and England lost Steve Davis and a lot more. This year seems to be full of upsets but one thing I noticed was it seemed that the players are not on target. Last night I was watching the match of Fong Pang Chao and Michael Valentine, damn! It was a really bad match. There were a lot of miscues from both players, they missed shot after shot. It was like watching amateurs playing billiards in a bar. There was one incident when Chao missed the 9 ball to the side pocket then Valentine missed it badly to the corner pocket then Chao made it to the other corner pocket but he scratched! Really funny and shocking! Anyway, there are only 5 filipinos left in the tournament - Manalo, Luat, Kiamco, Valle, and Pagulayan. Alex is carrying canada but he's a full-blooded pinoy so I am also cheering for him. Well the Chinese Taipei contingent still remains the strongest with 9 players left. Too bad they lost Chin Shun Yang who was favored to win this year's tournament. In fairness to Yang, he really improved his game through the years. "BAKLA" is how me and my dad calls him because he looks and acts like one. But this bakla is no joke, when he's on a streak, you're in big big trouble. But he was unfortunate this year just like Efren and Django. Well I felt bad more for Django because this is one tournament I believe he still hasn't won. And bad news for him, its not going to be this year. So its see you next year for Django. Today will be the matches of the final 32. Let's hope our five bets remain strong and hope that they will go all the way.

Because of this event, damn I am addicted to billiards again. It all started when me and Roman played billiards thru his PC then it went on to the real thing. Then again on the next day. Until I was able to install a billiards game on my PC. Waaah! Can't get enough of playing billiards. So anyone there who wants a match? Text me and lets play. But make sure you go to practice before you play with me or maybe lets go play so you would learn from the master! hehe just bluffin guys....So what do you say Kowtz? sayang ang miles? hehe bilyar tayo!!!

The Flying Penguin too!!!
alright...so I got this from my best bud...kowtz...just started playing it as soon as I saw his blog...
we are somewhat in a contest...check out this website...
http://n.ethz.ch/student/mkos/pinguin.swf
and play the Penguin baseball game...
Here's the deal...Kowtz has set two records...the first record is to hit the penguin as intelligently or as hardly as you can so you can make him reach as far as he could...Kowtz said he's got 323.5 as the farthest...I have already matched that...see below....

See!...But Kowtz said he got a new record...I still don't know how far he got the penguin...So the next record is to hit the penguin so it could be the nearest but must be greater than zero...Kowtz said he got 64.1 but me so far my nearest is 65.4...damn still was not able to match it...anyway...I made my own record....
Here's my deal...you should hit the penguin as hard as you can but as soon as it hits the ground...my rule is that it should not bounce...once you hit the penguin with the bat...when it hits the ground it should not bounce...of course the main objective is still to get the penguin as far as he could...mine I got 207.6...see below...
So if you get a better score than mine...tag me or make a comment...or better yet email me your screenshot...so happy batting guys...Thanks Kowtz!!!

The one you love? or the one who loves you?
I think we have had enough of the NBA...so now that the season is finally over...I am going to write about different things now...well I can't think of any topic so I put on this classic question...well...I think most of us have already been asked by someone...so what do you think? The one you love? or the one who loves you?
I don't think these questions need to be defined or explained further...they simply speak for themselves...but they are very hard to answer though...
For me...I will go for the one I love rather than the one who loves me...now...I know some of you are thinking now what if the other person does not love you even though you love that person? and I know that our answers will be really different because our gender really is related to this question...
For most guys, I think they will have the same answer as I have and for most girls, I think they'll have the other answer...they'd go for the one who loves them...why is that so? its very simple...for guys of course they will go for the one they love...because they have the power to do so...unlike the girls...they do not have the ability to go for the person they like...well til now I guess...
So...let's go deeper to my answer now...well for me I will go for the one I love...someone I really like...someone I am really crazy of...some one I am truly, madly and deeply in love to...I believe no one here would love someone who they don't like at all...of course...the attraction comes with it...someone who makes me laugh and makes me cry...someone I can't resist...lucky me I already found that someone...
If I will put these questions into analogy...one analogy that would fit this would be...would you be the slave? or would you be the King/Queen?

Well the SPURS really proved they were really the best...
I got nothin much to say...i really felt bad after the game...I really wanted detroit to win...
But hats off to the Spurs...I think the turning point in that game was when the Spurs hit back to back three point shots courtesy of who else but Big shot Rob and Bruce Bowen...the lead was 6 points and since then, the Pistons was not able to recover...

My hat is off especially for #21 Tim Duncan, "The Finals MVP"...during the post game interview he had a great quote about him and his teammates...
"My teammates had more confidence in me than I was, they do not know how appreciative I am with that..."
That's a mark of a really good basketball player...Tim really deserved his 3rd Finals MVP award...now I got a good what if to you...my best bud kowtz told me...what if Derek Fisher did not make the controversial "0.4" shot? Do you think the Spurs may have got a three-peat by now? Anyway let's go back to my Detroit Pistons...we can not take anything from the Pistons...they really gave it their best shot...take a good look at them...man they were really disappointed...

Anyways, did you know that even though they lost the championship...they still managed to get to the records again? They were the first team to ever win a game 6...down 3 games to 2 on the road...what about that?It could have been better if they've won the championship...
damn...I could have had free lunch if the Pistons won...remember my bet with Ryan? my officemate...I won the bet last time and he won it this time so it turned out that we got nothin out of it...but I had another bet with my Dad and I have to treat him out...
Enough of the FInals...remember the delicious cookie I was talking about? here's a good picture of it...getting the best out of your P4.50!

Really yummy...then here's a good shot of my workplace at the office...

After the game...I was really devastated...I did not want to work anymore...because of my frustration...I got my ear pierced...anyway I was planning to do this for several months now...and since the Pistons did not win...I got a new earring! Hehe did this with louie and suzy...here's a pretty good shot of it...look at my ear...red!!!

Anyways...got good news...my cookie was able to get a letter from the immigration already and she needs to get the medical for evidence...say what? damn...we're really close to it...pray for us...later dudes...

The Best CLUTCH player ever
Damn! The pistons almost made it in game 5 but they did not see this man along their way-- ROBERT HORRY.
Probably the best clutch player to ever play the game. I don't know what it is about this guy but he manages to make the big shots whenever they counted the most.

Damn. Sorry Pistons fans but "Big shot Rob" was in the house. Just when the Pistons thought they had it, they should have thought again. Horry's the man. He might have not only saved Tim Duncan's ass in game 5 but he may have also given the Spurs a sure-shot at the title. No.3 since '99 and Timmy's first without David. Moreover, Horry may have ended the Spurs' nightmare Derek Fisher's "0.4" heroics game 5 of last year's West Finals. Horry did not only make the big treys but also made a big dunk off Rip.

Though he was not able to make the freethrow to complete the 3-point play, that was one hell of a dunk. He almost broke his shoulder after that big dunk. What a clutch player. Horry's the type who at the start of the season plays like just a normal NBA player but when the time comes, he suddenly rises to the occasion and becomes a superstar.
I tell you, I was at the office when Game 5 happened. During the last 9 seconds of the overtime period, it was lunch time and me and my officemates had our ears pasted on the radio. I wanted the Pistons to win because I don't like the Spurs. I told one of my officemates during the Spurs timeout, "Tapos biglang si Horry naka-three points o, tang na yari tayo dyan". Then what I said just happened. Just like that, the game was turned around. After that I was like "P**##g i*#%g Horry yan! Hayop!". 5.8 seconds were still left in the game but I was really devastated by Horry's shot, I knew he got the Pistons there and I knew the Pistons will not recover...and they did not. All throughout his career he made the shots that matter the most...during his Houston days, during the playoff games with Sac and the finals with Philly. That night, Horry proved to us that he is really worthy of the ring. He has done it again. He may have nothing left to show us in Game 6 but what the heck? Does he need to show anything more? I think he has shown us enough. The best clutch player maybe the best role player or maybe the MVP? nah! of Game 5 yes! but the MVP? I think the best role player fits him better.
Well my prediction of Game 6? -- I hate to say this because I want the Pistons to win so they could have back to back rings but -- its going to be the Spurs in Game 7.
